  • How are 2 Strong Lacrosse Camps™ different from others?
2 Strong Camps exclusively collaborate with coaches representing the nation’s top lacrosse programs. These camps offer a unique platform for coaches to assess players in a comprehensive manner, delving beyond mere athletic prowess. They provide a forum for evaluating character, athleticism, intelligence, communication skills, and overall attitude. By observing players in both skill drills and game scenarios, coaches obtain genuine insights, distinct from those garnered solely through tournament play. Unlike tournaments where exposure to coaches is fleeting, these camps afford players extended exposure, allowing for more thorough evaluations. Typically, coaches attend tournaments with predefined lists of players to scout, often only observing partial games before moving on to the next. Moreover, 2 Strong Lacrosse Camps afford players the opportunity to assess coaches. Prospective student-athletes usually begin with a preferred school in mind. However, they must assess whether the coach's approach, team dynamics, and overall culture align with their personal preferences and goals, given the substantial commitment of four years ahead.
  • What months are your camps held?
2 Strong Lacrosse Camps are held during the months of June, July, October, December, and January. Camp schedules align with the NCAA recruiting calendar and college lacrosse season.
  • What geographic locations are your camps held?
2 Strong Lacrosse Camps hold events in Florida in January as well as on the east coast and west coast in the months of June, July, October and December.
  • Do the coaches recruit at your camps?
Coaches are always looking to recruit the best possible student athletes that align with their specific team strategy and vision. Camps are another “touch point” in the recruiting process. Coaches are always recruiting whether they attend a tournament or a camp. A tournament can only provide a coach one aspect of a player’s game. The camp can help a coach define character, skillset across multiple sessions, personality, and other intangibles. A good lacrosse player alone does not necessarily meet a coach’s needs. There are many good lacrosse players. Coaches are looking for the “right” players that align with specific team values.
  • Are the coaches listed on the website guaranteed to work the camp?
100% yes! There are times when there is a family emergency, canceled flight and other unknowns where a coach may be late or not make the camp. If a coach is listed on the 2 Strong Lacrosse website, he/she has confirmed his/her attendance in writing.
  • What does my son and/or daughter need to bring to camp?
Each player is responsible for bringing his/her lacrosse stick, all protective gear, water bottle, etc. We will provide a lacrosse jersey.
  • When do camps start and end?
2 Strong Lacrosse Camps are consistent with start and end times. On Day #1, registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 7:45 a.m. Day #2 commences at 7:45 a.m. Each day ends between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. There is a one hour break for lunch each day. During lunch, players may come and go as they please.
  • Do you offer camp insurance?
There is camp insurance offered for every camp. The cost is approximately $35.00 - $40.00. 2 Strong Lacrosse recommends purchasing the insurance. The offering is made in your camp purchase confirmation email.
  • Do you provide film at your camps?
Most 2 Strong Lacrosse Camps offer film for purchase. Complete game film is typically sent to camp participants within 7 business days of camp ending.
